About dapp.observer

A public uptime platform for decentralized apps — built for transparency, run on the edge.

Mission

Web3 users deserve the same operational visibility they've come to expect from Web2 services. dapp.observer watches the frontends, smart contracts, RPC endpoints, and underlying chains that power the apps you use — and surfaces their health as human-readable status pages.

How monitoring works

A scheduled worker runs check cycles every few minutes. For each dApp, we hit the frontend URL, exercise monitored smart-contract methods, and probe configured RPC endpoints. Results are stored as immutable check records and rolled up into daily uptime aggregates.

Incidents are auto-classified by consecutive failure thresholds. Open incidents show on the dApp's status page and the homepage banner.

Data sources

  • Frontend HTTP probes with content assertions
  • Smart-contract read calls against mainnet & L2 networks
  • JSON-RPC eth_blockNumber and chain head polling
  • Public third-party status feeds for cross-reference
